An Artist Residency In Motherhood

In March 2022, I was awarded a a-n The Artists Information Company Time, Space, Money Bursary of £1,500. Between March-Septermber 2022. I am utilising the bursary to take a period of reflection and evaluation of my practise as an artist/mother through undertaking a self-directed ” Artist Residency in Motherhood: see )

I have worked self- employed as a professional artist since 2002, and raise a family through precarious work. This is time to take stock and find new ways in which to move forward with my practice. The fund was established to: “help support plans which may have changed due to the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 and the continued impact of the pandemic..We know that it continues to be a challenging time for artists and freelancers working in the visual arts so this emergency response fund is designed to support the continuation of creative practice and/or help alleviate financial pressures at this critical time..We encourage applications from artists working in all visual arts disciplines that reflect innovative and ambitious thinking, and freelancers working in the visual arts such as art handlers, technicians, art installers, conservators and restorers, and those who work with artists in the production of their work and exhibitions. a-n Bursaries 2022: Time Space Money is supported by Arts Council England who are contributing £200,000 towards the programme.”
